From a broad experience in making musical instruments, my business had a formal start 1n 1990, concentrating on making bowed instruments.
In an early stage I started selling strings by mail-order to customers in other parts of the country. With the broader acceptance of the internet I started the first online string service for bowed instruments in the Netherlands. Nowadays I sell all kinds of accessories, bows and cases but still accept making-, repair and restoration orders in my workshop.
After selling my rental-department in 2018, I closed my shop in the city of Groningen and moved to the village of Callantsoog, just behand the dunes and the sea. Here I work from a home based workshop. I still have an interesting collection instruments and bows waiting for a new owner.
